Activities today included: play doh, free choice and toys, Noah's Ark toys, work bench/tools, Fireman dauber art, using our senses to examine the classroom pumpkin, using crayons to color animals, creating designs with octagons on the flannel board, puzzles, stamping #2, coloring Noah with markers,  discussing the Bible story ( God keeps us safe and helps us do big tasks), adding pairs of animals to the ark, Bible story craft, looking at books. listening to 2 stories; The Fire Fighters and 5 Little Ducks, playing outside, discovering red objects and placing them on the magnetic board, tearing paper in the sensory table, singing, marching and finally playing with red balloons. Oh, and, let's not forget the FIREMEN showing up at 1:45pm for a practice drill. Needless to say nap was only an hour. The good news is that the drill went smoothly; we past the test.
