9-23
Today we enjoyed listening to the story of Noah. We know that God helps us do big jobs and keeps us safe. We played with our toys: arks, school buses, tools and dolls to name just a few. The children enjoyed painting with combs, tooth brushes, and textured brushes. We used red paint. The children loved working puzzles. We used a mallet to hammer tees into Styrofoam. The boys and girls used a dauber to complete an octagon. We painted an apple either red, yellow or green. The girls and boys chose the color of paint. The class tore paper strips at the sensory table. We made a red collage poster using red textured materials. The girls and boys used crayons to color a cooperative picture of Noah building the ark. We sang, danced, marched and played outside. The students matched red, yellow and green apples to a template. We traced an ark and used water colors to paint it. Through the fence we got to see a doggie that was visiting Miss Kirby in preschool.
