11-28
Welcome back! We've missed everyone. Hopefully all families had a fantastic Thanksgiving along with rest and relaxation. I enjoyed hearing about all the adventures the children participated in over the break.

The children enjoyed looking at the new books for the month of Dec.
New toys were available for the children to use, as the played individually and with friends.

Puzzles reinforced some of the things we are thankful for: church, homes, families and food.

We  used green paint as we finger painted a design of our own.

Magnetic blocks were well liked for building vehicles and structures.

A/B/A cross patterning.

Stringing pony beads.

Exploring kinetic sand.

Chatting with Mrs. Burke as she asked us some question, to complete our crosses.

Keeping in touch with our creative side using markers and colored chalk.
Building structures together.
Jesus board.
Thankful for food
Church, pastors and JESUS!

Thankful for families, our homes and everything we have.
Our thankful prayer.
Large motor time in the Commons.
Looking for signs of Christmas in the Commons and lobby.

Stamping 5 Christmas trees on #5.

Using linking people we made our families.

We discussed the weather and how to dress for it.

Our Advent wreath-we lit one candle,  the HOPE candle. We hope with certainty that Jesus is coming. For us Advent is a time to prepare-get ready for Jesus' birth. We discussed what we do to get ready. The Christmas preparations that take place. Then we discussed how to get ready for the birth of a baby.
Book that were read to the children.
Our Bible story.
