8-30

We are blessed; another fun filled day of learning in ELP.
Friends at play. Taking turns and sharing chalk.
Working together to place blue flowers on the pole.
Learning through play. Farms, animals, people and equipment.
Children express themselves while drawing on the white board.
A blue dot was placed inside each circle.
 The circles made a #1.

Day 1 of Creation: light and darkness.

Examining a new material called Floam. We talked about the properties of Floam and found similarities and differences between Floam and Play Doh.

The class is learning how to handle books correctly.
Do a Dots on the square.

We are learning about CREATION!
Weather frog is dressed for a sunny day.

Enjoying books with a friend.

Featured books for Wednesday.

Large motor play on the playground.

The new playground is going to be SO cool.

We are learning about plants.

ELP students made pairs of blue object.

New in our class this week - keyboards. Some students pretended to work in an office. Others pretended to be authors and write books. I gave them a story starter, we "typed" it and continued making up parts of the story and typing it as we went along.
Blocks - shaped like a square. Children enjoyed stacking them and lining up the cubes.

Musical learning top.
Look how nicely we are playing with the toys and each other.

This concludes the visual look at our day. We hope you enjoyed this sneak peak.
