Bible Story;
The Lost Coin-Luke 15
"Once there was a women who had 10 silver coins," said Jesus. "Sometimes she would count them, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10...10 coins". One day something went wrong. She counted the coins and only had nine. Only nine! Where could the other coin be? She lit a lamp so she could see under the furniture. She swept the house. Suddenly she saw it! She picked it up and called to her friends. "Be happy for me, I have found my lost coin." Friends, God is like that woman. He wants to find his people who are not following him. They are lost from him. He wants them to follow him again. Then they will be found, and God will be happy!

PDO-Our Day In Pictures.

The day started with Recess.












Then, we came in for various activities. We colored a picture from the Bible story.

We painted purple.

We used dabbers, as we reviewed the shape of oval.


We enjoyed playing with the toys.








PDO friends practiced placing number cards in numerical order.

The children matched farm animal.









The girls and boys matched shapes.


The children used their fine motor skills to clip clothes pins to the number cards. The number on the card indicated the number of clothes pins to use. The color of the card indicated the color of the clothes pins to use on each card.

We placed a coin on the number cards. The children had to name the number before placing a coin on it.






We enjoyed  looking at books.



Weather frog is dressed for a warm sunny day.

We acted out a poem.  Bunnies are sleeping.



Bunnies are hopping.

We took turns naming the number found on the bottom of each duck.

Scout went to the dog park and had many adventures.

We matched colored fish to the pattern on the card.

The children worked on letters Q-T.


5, 4, 3, 2, 1. We counted the carrots in reverse order.

You see, bunny was very hunger and he ate the carrots in the garden one by one.
The children hid their eyes. Look and see; they had to guess the color of the missing bunny. We also patterned the bunnies.
