We started the day with play doh. We had new tools to work with. It was so exciting. The toys were enjoyed by many. The children hammered the tees just like Noah. Several student enjoyed using the work bench. The girls and boys used crayons to color a picture of the ark. PDO friends chose either red, yellow or green paint and painted an apple at the easel. We enjoyed our playground. My friends helped add red items of various textures to our RED THINGS poster board. The children tore paper in the sensory table. The class matched apples by color. They painted red, using different textures of brushes. We stamped #2 using a red stamp pad. Letters were placed in the slotted pot. Music and large motor movement was enjoyed by all. I read a book to each child during the story time, Then as a group the children enjoyed listening to the books, Buzzing Bees and Farm Animals.
