People Praise Jesus
Mark 11:1-11

Jesus was coming into the city of Jerusalem. Jesus told his friends, "Go and find a donkey in the village." Jesus' friends brought the donkey for him to ride. The crowds gathered along the road into the city. Some waved palm branches back and forth. Some spread coats on the ground. Everyone shouted,  "Hosanna!"

Our prayer:
Dear God, I love Jesus, and I want to praise him like the people in the story did. Amen

Sing hosanna, sing hosanna

Today's pictures:

Using the A/B/A patterning method, we patterned glitter shamrock, plain shamrock, glitter shamrock.

I placed letters A-N on the magnetic board and the children identified the letters. We did quite well. I was pleasantly surprised.

We played with boats in the sensory table to remind us of last week's Bible story. Jesus Calms the Storm. We were able to make waves in the water. We made note of the water when it was calm and when it was rough.

This book was all about hugs. How hugs make us feel, when to give them and who gives them.

Too muddy outside. We played in the Commons.

This book was about the adventures of 5 little monkeys and the trouble they got into when they decided to read books after momma turned out the lights.

This week the class began learning about Holy Week. The focus this week is on Palm Sunday.
Eight is the special number for this month. The girls and boys used markers to color 8 candles.

We used shamrock stampers and green paint to create a cool looking work of art.

A yellow marker was used to trace a dot to dot rectangle.

Do a dot green shamrock.

We cut a palm branch to use during Jesus Time.

These look like boxes BUT they are really boats.

New toys in the room consist of Lincoln logs, Little People Circus, sensory table-water and a wire maze.

Time for yellow play doh.

We enjoyed our day.
