The last Supper
Matthew 26

Jesus found a quiet upper room, and used it for his last supper. Disciples shared the wine and broke the bread, "Remember me like this," their Master said. For Jesus knew he'd have to leave his friends, to fix a feast above that would never end.

We discussed Holy Communion at Zion. Several of the classmates smiled when I spoke about Pastors
or Elders touching them on the head and blessing them as they kneeled with their parents at the Communion Rail.

Key Points for PDO:

Jesus had a Last Supper with His disciples.
He asked the disciples to remember Him.
By washing His disciples feet, Jesus demonstrated how we should love one another.

Prayer:
Dear God,
Help me to remember you every day.
Amen.

Song:

Try to sing this song to the tune of “Mary had a little lamb.”

Jesus is God’s special Son,
Special Son, special Son,
Jesus is God’s special Son,
He ate a special meal.

He served His friends bread and juice,
bread and juice, bread and juice,
He served His friends bread and juice
And shared some special news.

This is your invitation. It's a great time, so please plan to attend and bring a friend.

We made a framed rectangular collage.

Shape lacing cards. We named the color and shape of the card and then we laced it.

We traced and colored a shamrock.

We attached mini clothes pins to number cards.

We found hidden letters on the poster.

We placed stickers on number 8.

We used markers to color a picture of the Last Supper.

Time to enjoy a good book.

We dressed Weather Frog for a cloudy, cool day.

We marched in place (fast, slow), and in a circle.

We swung our arms as we marched.

We marched around the room.

We named the letters of the alphabet A-N in/out of order.

Shamrock patterning.

Recess... tunnels, hoppers, balls, rings and animals.

We traced and colored a rectangle.

We colored a St. Paddy's Day handout.

Our friends enjoyed an indoor picnic, YUMMY!

We designed a creative rectangular piece of art.

We tore crepe and tissue paper in the sensory table.

We painted a duck yellow.

We are now painting in the lines.

This is a double sided book that tells about the fun we can have with our brothers......

and our sisters.

We applied our knowledge of colors as we named the color represented on each page. Then we named the items shown on the page that represent that color. Finally, we thought of other things that are the same color as the items the page.

We danced to Toody Ta while watching the video.

Thanks for viewing our day.
