11-17

Our day began by listening to Thanksgiving songs, finger plays and stories.

We danced to the Turkey Freeze Dance and the Turkey Pokey.

 Play doh followed.

 As did toys and centers.

The children patterned leaves.
They crafted a Pumpkin Wind sock. On it was written their thought on what to be thankful for, this year, at Thanksgiving.
 Featured books

Today we are thankful for school and church.

 They dressed Weather Frog.
 Our thankful story for today.

Our 2nd story on thankfulness to God.

A/B/A patterning Cornucopia /Scarecrow/Cornucopia.

We made pudding.
The mix smelled good.

The class used a spoon and stirred the mixture.

We finger painted with the pudding. Yes, we licked some too. YUMMY

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!

Here at Zion, we are thankful to work with and touch the lives of these awesome children. It is so inspiring to be one of their first teachers in a school setting.  It's a wonderful experience and responsibility to share the Gospel with young children. They love  Bible stories and they have a true love for their Savior. If that's not blessing enough we are equally blessed by all of you for sharing your children with us, supporting our school and the work we do to educate your offspring.  For your trust and prayers my staff and I thank you.
