Oct. 21

Today we learned:
We used markers to color a picture of Abraham. The children enjoyed playing with the classroom toys. The children worked with play doh. The students took time to relax and look at books from the class library. Boys and girls used various textured materials and glued them on a pumpkin. These decorative pumpkins are on display on the bulletin board in the classroom. The BIG activity today was placing orange circles on poles. The circles were made by slicing an orange swimming noodle.  The book of the day was Big and Little. It went along with our discussion about which circles are big and which circles are small. My PDO friends enjoyed the nice weather and had a blast playing outside on the playground. The girls and boys matched big circles by color. My friends had an opportunity to match 3 stars by color. We made a Bible craft that will be displayed in the hallway. The class took turns matching pumpkin halves by number, 1, ,2, and 3. The day came to a close by watching a video of the Bible story, Father Abraham and singing the song by the same name. Enjoy viewing our class pictures.
