10-3

The class was very engaged in the centers. Boys and girls enjoyed playing with friends. All in All, it was a very good day in ELP.

Learning the purpose of tools and how to use them.

Checking out a good book.
Setting up the train table.
Placing coins in the slot of the piggy bank.

Using crayons, the children colored a picture of Noah.

The girls and boys used markers to color the #3 worksheet.
My friends used orange tempera paint to fill in Tigger the Tiger.
They are learning to paint thin and spread out the paint.
Matching animal faces.

Creating a train on the flannel board.
Red objects were placed on the magnetic board. We are naming pictures. Deciding how each object is used. Looking for various shades of red. Social skills like sharing and working together are also used.
I read these two seasonal books to the class today.
Book buddies.

With prompts on the flannel board, the children were able to retell the story of Noah.

Fantastic day to enjoy out new playground; blessed are we in many ways.
 Hoop it UP.

Yesterday we explored the nursery rhyme - Humpty Dumpty. Today it was Jack and Jill.

Frog is dressed for a cloudy day.
We can trust that God Keeps His Promises. 1. He will never flood the earth again. 2. He will take us to heaven.

Round and Round the Mulberry bush.

Discovering rainbows through the song Itsy Bitsy Spider.
 Apples and numbers 1-10.

 London Bridge song.
Counting to 10.
 Hot Cross Buns.
Lacing or sewing cards. We will get it but we need some practice. This is a good quiet activity for home or in the car.

APPLE TASTING - Red, yellow or green; which one is the best. After our tasting test today, opinions are evenly divided.
Viewing the letter of the alphabet.

 Looking at shapes.
As you can see, it was a busy day.

ASC IS CLOSING AT 5PM ON FRIDAY DUE TO HARVEST PARTY AND TRUNK-OR-TREAT

Remember it's the Harvest party on Friday/Trunk or Treat. I will be in the Commons with Ms. Jeri. As in the past, we will have pumpkins to decorate and a light snack. Pace your self there's so much to do and so little time to do it, before TRUNK OR TREAT.
Thanks for sharing your child with us today, we were blessed by his/her presence.
