10-11

Well Fall is here. I hope you enjoy looking at and discussing with your child the events of today. Please note that we go outside most every day. A jacket, sturdy, enclosed shoes GREATLY enhance the experience.

OUR WEDNESDAY was a GIFT from GOD and together we tried to make the most of it.

Balancing and hopping on the big ball.
Playing with friends in the huts.

The wheesl on the bus in ELP. They love to drive and ride in the bus. Why not ask your child where they go when they ride in the school bus. I know they have many thoughts on this.I hope they share and perhaps sing the song complete with actions.
This child is on a shopping spree. One hungry boy!
Two cuties... this little girl knows quite a bit about taking care of a dog.
Role playing, a daddy feeding baby.
These natural wood pieces are quite popular. Many structures have been built so for. The students are learning how to make a strong base.
This picture demonstrates sharing thought and ideas and taking turns...just to name a few.

"MY ORANGE COLORING BOOK"   This mini booklet will be coming home this week. The children have colored things that could be orange.  We have looked for orange objects in our room; finding quite a few.
Size, shape, color and spatial awareness skills are developed when students work puzzles.
Our friends placed orange circles on a pole.

We worked to strengthen our fine motor skills. Boys and girls placed a small plastic needle in the holes thereby pulling the threaded needle through the hole.

The girls and boys are very good at placing 1 tiny circular dot inside each small circle that males one large circle.

Abraham was promised to be the father of generations, more numerous than the stars in the sky.

Learning about many different types of animals while placing the animal magnets on the board.
Our light shines bright when we show Gods love to others.

Books provide the children an opportunity to expand their horizons.

Our animal friends.
Using the wooden tiles the children matched for pairs of animals.

God said it and it is TRUE.

Playing outside is so much fun. Please make sure your son or daughter has enclosed shoes and brings a jacket on cooler days.

 # 3, circle and orange are concepts we are exploring this month.

The class experienced a combo of shaving cream and orange paint in the sensory table.Through this activity they increased their vocabulary and learned about properties of shaving cream and paint.
Ring Toss - good for all development levels. Some students are learning to put rings on the pegs by placing them there and others are ready to toss the rings. Either way the children are becoming more accurate with each passing day.

We have enjoyed working and learning along side your child; looking forward to the days and weeks ahead sharing God's love with each other.
 In His peace,
joy and staff
