10-25

Super Hero Day... my class knows that they are Super Heros everyday when:
1. They take care of their bodies
2. When they treat others with kindness and respect
3.  ***When they share God's Love with everyone.***

This week we are ;learning about Hannah and her son Samuel. Hannah is a good example for our pray life. She took her concerns to God in prayer. She made a promise to God and she KEPT it. Finally, she rejoiced in the Lord not just for receiving what she asked for, but rejoicing in God himself. The greatness of this Bible story is the fact that God himself listened and answered her prayer and does the same for us today. The children will come to know that God answers every prayer. In a way our young learners can understand, God answers our prayers with YES, NO and IN HIS TIME. God knows what is best for us. So families,  Give Thanks to the Lord for He Is Good! During the week we will learn the song "God Is So Good" and the class can think of ways that God shows his goodness to us. As the week progresses we will sing Thank Him, Thank Him All You Little Children and hopefully we can add things to our list of thanksgiving other than types of toys etc.
