Today was the 1st official recess on the new playground and it was WONDERFUL!!!!!!! There is so much to do! So much space! I want to thank parents for your patience with the temporary playground; not to mention the parking lot congestion in the mornings and afternoons. A BIG thank you to parents that helped work on the playground. Your time and talents were very much appreciated.

Our Day was comprised of the following learning centers:
1. Hammering Tees
2. Puzzles
3. Apple Match
4. Arks
5. Gears/ Cranks
6. Dress Up
7. Nesting/Stacking Blocks - Noah
8. Planting Flowers - learning about parts of a plant
9. Jesus Time - Noah brings on the animals
10. Music and Movement and U -Tube songs/dance
11. Books and Story Telling
12. Fine Motor - placing Spaghetti in hole of spice jar
13. #2 stamping/Bobcat paw print
14. Chalkboard and Whiteboard Easel
15. Coloring an ark with crayons
16. Art - stamping apples (red, yellow, green)

 Boys and girls used crayons to color the ark.

Patience and fine motor skills were put to the test as girls and boys tired their hand at placing spaghetti in the holes of spice containers.




 #2 is the featured number for Sept. The children stamped 2 red paw prints on the paper. Of course, these were BOBCAT paw prints!!

Art project - using a sponge stamp in the shape of an apple, each child used all 3 colors and chose how many apple prints of each color to stamp on their paper.


 The story of Noah, God talking to Noah.
 Safe and sound in the ark. God provides.


That concludes our marvelous Monday. Have a good evening and I hope to see all parents who are members of Zion Church at the 7pm. VOTERS MEETING.
