 Blue painting at the easel.
Using a template and blue foam strips, the boys and girls formed a square.
 Building with magnetic blocks.
The girls and boys are learning to tear paper. This step will lead into scissor skills.
Pre-project work. The children are learning how to document their observations by drawing what they see. The also learned how to carry a clipboard and how to place paper on the board. Today the children had a template to follow. 2nd semester they will draw everything w/o a template and instead of using colored markers they will use Paper Mate flairs (black medium tip) In this pic they are drawing a wedge of cheese, apple and broccoli.
 Playground time.

 Bible story.

Books read to the class today.

From our garden we pick some spearmint. We compared the leaves and smell to the basil that was picked a few days ago.  The sense of sight, smell, and touch were used in our observations.
