 The ELP  friends are learning about weather. Today they are experiencing this rainy period by painting raindrops blue. They are finding out how much paint is needed to fill the space, They tried their best to stay within the outline. Bravo little learners.

 God created light and darkness. The students used yellow paint for the light and painted half the plate yellow.
 Cooperation is sharing the easel space.


Dancing and singing to Jim Gill. Check out his music. Your child will love to hear his music at home too.



 This song gives the students some info on how to ID a square.
Color song and game promotes color awareness on what  color of clothes we wear.

 I read the big book to give them the concept if the whole story. We centered our learning on day 1.

How is peanut butter made? I try to use both fiction and nonfiction books in the classroom.
 They class loved figuring out WHO was HIDING!!!!



 We used the blue grab bag to discuss objects that are blue and their function.  Beginning math reading and language skill are being used.
 Blue object placed on the magnetic board.
Blue paint and white paint make light blue paint when mixed together.

 Science...a Cicada is in the magnifying box. A video was shown about the Cicada.
