5-17

It is our last Learn a Lot Thurs. Really hard to believe.

 Creating works of art.
 Stamping,  cutting, molding the play doh.

 Using red, orange and yellow markers to color a flame.
Pentecost! The boys and girls are ready to tell family, friends, neighbors and everyone all about salvation through Jesus.
We are tracing the letters of our  first name.

 Matching picture cards. Each card begins with a letter of the alphabet.

Sifting, pouring, filling containers with soil. Magnifying glasses were used to examine parts of a plant. Soil was crumbled to filter through the funnel and sieve. Tweezers were used to pick up plastic bugs.


The Hungry Caterpillar game. Children located the parts of the story as Mrs. Burke retold it. Sequence of events.
 ABA patterning.
 Half day preschool teacher, Mrs. Stanglein read the story Maisy Goes to School. Those students that are going to preschool have this book in the READ bag.

Mrs. Burke read 2 books and the children enjoyed Scooby Doo snacks, dog biscuit shape graham crackers.
