5-14

Welcome to the last full week of ELP. I hope you can see progression in these blog posts through out the year. Not only in physical development but in social and emotional growth too.

Sensory Table - Filled with potting soil, seedlings, magnifying glasses, tweezers, scoops and containers to fill.

Imaginary play knights, princesses and castles.
Love to see friendships forming.
Creative art at the desk.
Play doh helps us be creative and is good for fine motor development.

Cutting various types of materials. Their fine motor skills have increased. Finger muscles are much stronger.

Look at how well the children are working together on the white board. Outside of Jesus Time, social and emotional growth are the most important concepts to instill in children at this age. All other "academics" are secondary.
This child is interested in letters.
Tracing dots that form each students name.
Patterning large square/small square/ large square.
What's taller than an ELP boy? Well this block tower is!
Nice day to be outdoors.
Pentecost.

This week is Guest reader week. Mrs. Lohman, a full day preschool teacher was out guest reader.
She read, IF YOU GIVE A MOOSE A MUFFIN. As you can see the children were very engaged.

Outdoor play is loved by all. Don't forget to apply sunscreen!!!

Enjoy your evening.
