3-26

Welcome to Monday's blog. I hope you find value in viewing this entry.

THIS IS HOLY WEEK. The children and I will be journeying to the cross. Along the way,  we will review the stories of Holy Week. The stories for review will be Jesus entering Jerusalem (Palm Sunday),  and The Last Supper/Passover Meal ( institution of Communion, Washing of Feet and Judas' betrayal. On Mon./Tues. we will enter the Garden to learn about Jesus praying in the Garden and how he taught us to pray. We will also learn how 3 disciples continually fell asleep even though Jesus asked them to stay awake and pray with him. Finally, we will learn about Judas betraying Jesus/informing the guards about Jesus' whereabouts. Then on Wed. and Thurs. we will look at how the people treated our Savior, the pain he bore and his death on the cross. The class will learn why we call Friday,  Good Friday.

Our song this week:

DO YOU KNOW
Do you know who died for me
Jesus did, Jesus did.
Lovingly he did for me
