Today concludes the Week of the Young Child. PJ Day was fun. In case you forgot, it was Fun Friday/Let's talk about families. We did just that. We visited the 5th grade students in the Fellowship Hall of church and saw them dressed in costumes, depicting storybook characters. The 5th graders read books like Frozen and The Hungry Caterpillar to name a few. Look for poster boards in the room next week with children's comments about their families and activities they like to do in school.

Gone fishing.
 Exploring letters.

 Folder games about function.
Acting out the Bible story, Breakfast with Jesus.


 Constructing a train track.

Storybook time with assistant Miss Walter.

 Bible story.

 The last sentence was our focus today. Jesus taught us to  serve. We talked about ways we serve in the classroom and at home.
5th graders in costume portraying a character from the book. All together ELP children heard 3 stories. It was lots of fun.









 Super day to be outdoors.
