4-19   Favorite color Day and Artsy Thurs.

 Developing control of our bodies.
 Linking fish = math skills: color recognition, counting skills, understanding words like longer/shorter and patterning.
A disciple went fishing.
Play don reinforces color recognition, fine motor development, shape/color recognition, language skills and creativity.
 Block building develops language skills, social/emotional growth-sharing/taking turns/working together, math skills-big/little, tall/short etc.
 3 part sequence cards- language skills, math reasoning and fine motor skills.
 Bible story- knowledge of self/recognition of God.

Linking fish-patterning/fine motor development.
 Exploring instruments-increasing vocabulary and learning to play instruments.

 Linking cubes work on the same skills as linking fish.


 Bible story-Breakfast with Jesus-memory recall, oral language and knowledge of self and Savior.



 Bible story video.
Science- weather, self awareness dressing for the weather.

 Playtime in room B.


Ring around the Rosie, Hokey Pokey and other circle games.
 Yellow chick painting with textured tools.
 Color match-Bumble Bee match.


National High 5 Day, Mr. M (asst. principal came around to get some HIGH 5's)
Science-learning about Spring and the life stages of a Butterfly.


We enjoyed talking about everyone's favorite color for Color Day. We didn't get to do much in the way of Art Thursday because most of our activities were panned for outside. Therefore, we will do the art next Thurs....HOPEFULLY the weather will cooperate. Blessings on your evening.
