Lentil beans and critters in the sensory table. It's fun to dig and find these critters. The children can name several of these creatures. Students enjoyed the sifting through the beans as they dug out the critters.

A garage was added to the cars this week.
May books are on the shelf ready to be looked at.

We used a template to trace a diamond.
 Building on the block table.

New puzzles: alphabet, numerals, dinosaurs, nursery rhymes and ocean life.

The Lost coin. The class wrapped foil around a cardboard circle. Then they applied glue to the foil and added silver glitter. Hopefully this "coin" will be a talking point for them as the retell the story to family this evening.

Letters of the alphabet...name it and place it on the magnetic board.

 Bible board this week.

Recess in the Commons.

Watching a video of the Bible story.

 One coin is missing.
 Can't see.
 Need a lamp,
Searched until she found it.
So excited she told her friends.
Jesus searches for us when we go astray. He looks until he finds us. He forgives us, restores us and welcomes us back into the family.
 Number matching game.

Our special book for today.

 May day flower hunt.

5-1

Happy May Day!

I pray all families had the opportunity to go to church this weekend, the 3rd Sunday after Easter, and worship God for all he has done for us. We teach the little ones about Jesus. However the examples and priorities that families set early on is second to none.

The learning concepts for May: shape-diamond, color-rainbow colors and more ( all colors reviewed), and number-10.

The Bible story is the Lost Coin Luke 15:8-10. We are precious to God. He will search for us when we are lost. Just as the women in the story searched for her silver coin.
