We worked played doh. We played with trains. Girls and boys enjoyed conversing withe Mrs. Koenig as they discussed the magnetic pictures and placed them on the magnetic board. The children told Mrs. K the name and color of each object and how it is used. They expressed their creative side as they drew on the whiteboard and chalkboard. The boys and girls enjoyed coloring on the class mural. Puzzles got us thinking about sizes and shapes. The class enjoyed the freedom to explore the various centers that were offered. Large motor skills were developed as the children tried their skill at walking on the beam. Large motor skills were used when we played on the playground and during music and movement. Art today centered around stamping apples. Our classmates matched like animals. They listened and helped retell the Bible story-The 7 days of Creation. They cared for the flowers and garden. They also painted a red mural using objects from nature as their paint brushes. They students enjoyed 2 big book stories at the closing of our day.

That concludes our day.
