9-13

What are we doing/learning today?
We are learning about the color red, shape of an octagon, and exploring the number 2. Not to mention, learning about day 5, 6, and 7 of the Creation story. Of course, we played outside. We love music, so we sang and danced to our favorite songs. We painted with red paint and finger painted too. We explored our centers, built with the big blocks. In the sensory table, we built structures using linking cubes of various colors. All of us worked on our Bible craft. We enjoyed the new books for Sept. We created a RED book and will read it to you at home. We walked the balance beam, created shapes with red play doh, matched apples by color, played an animal matching game, nested cubes with animal pictures on them. This activity reinforced the 6th day of creation and taught us about sizes. We learned to use the magnetic board, continued to build friendships, practiced waiting for our turn, showed God's love by helping each other and praised God for creating our fantastic world! That's what we did today in ELP.  Blessings on your evening.
