11-7
Starting our day with music and dance.
Love for our friends.
The table now contains ears of corn and the children enjoyed picking off each kernel.
This is some "loose parts" material. The students may touch the fabric wall and then with an adult, they discussed how the fabric swatches looked and felt.. They will be introduced to patterns and words that will help them describe the sensory experience.
Some of the activities that your child was exposed to this morning. Inserting flowers into the sieve. Matching paint chips using a clothespin. Geo boards and rubber bands.
Picking kernels of corn off the cob is fun, fun, fun.
This center is certainly popular.
Matching and patterning crosses.
Building with a friend. Now that's cooperation.
Seasonal objects placed on the magnetic board. This activity develops language skills. It also gives students the chance to understand the season of fall.
Matching leaves to the number on the tummy of each turkey,
Self help dressing cards.
The crocodile is missing teeth. Students added teeth.
The birthday cake needed candles.
Leaves were added to the tree so the giraffe had something to eat.
The students used the markers to color #4 and 4 objects.
Story time.
Too wet on the playground or we would have gone outside. So, please dress your child for the weather. We had a blast in the Commons.
After recess, we went for a walk in the Elementary building, looking for crosses. Here is what we found.
Pulling tape off the art project.
The children chose a picture of food to color and placed it on the plate.
We are blessed and thankful.
