Bible Story;
The Lost Coin-Luke 15
"Once there was a women who had 10 silver coins," said Jesus. "Sometimes she would count them, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10...10 coins". One day something went wrong. She counted the coins and only had nine. Only nine! Where could the other coin be? She lit a lamp so she could see under the furniture. She swept the house. Suddenly she saw it! She picked it up and called to her friends. "Be happy for me, I have found my lost coin." Friends, God is like that woman. He wants to find his people who are not following him. They are lost from him. He wants them to follow him again. Then they will be found, and God will be happy!

We had a delightful day interacting with your child. See for your self.

We placed 10 silver coins on the numbers, starting with number one. The children counted to ten as coins were placed on each number. Next, the children tried placing the coins on the numbers, as Mrs. Burke called out the numbers randomly. For the littlest children, their job was to place coins on the nu

Each day I see more positive communication between the children.

The class matched shapes to each bear's tummy.







The children used their fine motor skills to clip clothes pins to the number cards. The number on the card indicated the number of clothes pins to use. The color of the card indicated the color of the clothes pins to use on each card.

We painted purple.

We tried our hand at tracing around an oval, with a purple crayon.


Each child colored a Bible story handout. Hopefully, they will be able to retell a detail from the story.

Lending a helping hand.

We worked on the ABC book:Q-R.







The girls and boys used colored fish and matched them to a colored fish template.


We searched in the rice tub to find number cards.We pulled out number cards and named the number.

This book was about the season of spring.



This book was all about Pete the Cat singing the song Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.


Time to enjoy a good book.

We are keeping the story of Easter alive. This book retold the story of Holy Week. Many of the girls and boys were able to describe each picture.


The bunny count down book was requested today. Bunny is hungry. He eats the carrots one by one. We are very good at counting down from 5.

This poem teaches self regulation. The children LOVE it.

Bunnies asleep.

Hopping.


The children hid their eyes. Look and see; they had to guess the color of the missing bunny.

We played outside.







The PDO friends took turns waiting for the opportunity to play in a little water and name the number found on the bottom of each duck.
