12-18

The children were given choices this morning.
1. They could sing and dance to Christmas music.
2. Children could play with the sparkle play doh.

 Next up was folder games.

Do a dot markers were used to color in circles surrounding the manager/Baby Jesus and wording that said, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!"
Preparing a special message,  to be opened Christmas Day.

The boys and girls used water color paints to create a seasonal picture.
Girls and boys trimmed the tree.
Special books for today.
Enjoying some quiet time with friends and a special book of their choosing.
Outside time was a welcomed change from the Commons.

Making a Christmas tree using "loose parts." The parts: dowel rods and egg carton sections.

Hey All, we figured out our magnetic blocks attach to the magnetic board. The children made designs; some even patterned.
 Christmas IS coming SOON!

This gift from the ELP department, is being sent home this week as our Christmas gift to each child. How blessed we are to have each one of these children in ELP.  Merry Christmas!!
Christmas is many things: possibly time off from work/school, family time, time to travel /visit with extended family, exchange gifts, relax and Most of All celebrate the Birth of JESUS! Please have your child open this envelope on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day as a reminder of why we celebrate on this special day. They know the song Happy Birthday and perhaps time will permit for the singing of it. Maybe even a candle/Advent wreath and a special treat could round out the celebration.

Counting down the days to Christmas.  Go's Peace to All.
