Happy Ground Hog's Day!!! I guess? If you like winter. I don't at all!!
The day started with mixing white and black play doh. It was so cool to see the progression in color change as the students squeezed the 2 together.
Cars, trucks and other vehicles.
Playing side by side.
Enjoying a book or two.
Peek -A - Boo, you in the tent.
Lotion play, fun but also good for our little dry hands.
Tic - Tac - Toe, one of 2 games we are learning to play today.
The class used crayons to color a boy or girl holding a heart. Reminding us that Jesus LOVES us.
Color match folder game.
Clothes pin match # 6.
Bible story coloring sheet - Jesus Calls 12 Disciples. Markers were used and fish crackers were glued to the net to remind us that we too are fishers of men for God's kingdom.
Last day in the sensory table with snow! Next week will feature something that is hard, odorless, and slippery. Any guesses? It melts.
Our Bible story.
Running, jumping and getting the wiggles out will hopefully result in a good nap.
The second game learned today was the Pizza Game. We took turns, shared pieces that we didn't need and cheered for our classmates as they completed their slice of the pizza pie.
One of my favorites and I think the children loved it too.
We also acted out snow movements from yesterday's book, Snow.
We are skiing.
We made an igloo
Built a snowman and melted too. The friends enjoyed acting out the story.
Jim Gill... when his music comes on our singing begins. This class now know many of Jim's songs.
Dancing, oh what fun.
Have a super weekend and I will see everyone next week. STAY HEALTHY!
