10-4

We had so much fun at school today!!!!!

When we work puzzles we are developing our fine motor skills, thinking/problem solving skills and fine motor skills.

Filling the bank with colored coins works on similar skills as puzzles and also reinforces names of colors.
Cooperative play - building a train track.

 Matching animals = visual discrimination.

 Coloring Noah.
 Housekeeping.
Investigating tools.

Fruit loops; a fun and tasty way to make a rainbow.
Orange painting at the easel, an Angry Bird .
Matching animal tiles.

Red objects. The class placed red objects on the magnet board. While doing so, language skills were developed as the children stated details about each object.

A new flannel board scene was introduced; the train station. The children LOVED it. The girls and boys practiced patience while waiting for their turn. They also learned placement of the pieces and sharing the space with classmates.
Girls and boys took turns placing parts of the Noah story on the flannel board.
I am so proud of these children and their ability to retell the story of Noah. Way to go, friends.

Our rainy day.
Last part of the story of Noah.

 The class enjoys books.

These books were read to the class.

Due to the rain, we had indoor recess in the Commons

 Coloring sheet, with crayons, #3.
Rainbow promise made out of Fruit Loops  God keeps His Promises. He will never flood the earth again.

Animal lacing cards reinforce the story of Noah and strengthens our fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Thanks for viewing our blog.
