It was an awesome day to be in ELP. The children love their God. The Holy Spirit is at work in their hearts and minds. I am so proud of the way they listen to the Bible story. They are able to retell each story with just a few prompts. The fire truck at our window had to be the favorite center of the day. Of course it wasn't in my plans because it was an in-house field trip for KDG. but we took full advantage of the situation and viewed what we could from our window.
We popped bubble wrap. It helps strengthen finger muscles.
Super Hero imaginary play. It get sour creative juices flowing.
The balls helps us with balance and develops our large muscles.
The sensory table is filled with spoons, containers, pumpkin erasers, funnels, tweezers, clothes pins and plastic ring spiders.

Water color paints on the Bible story handout.
Orange play doh is a calming activity. The class loves the seasonal cutters and several children enjoy making their own creations, using just their hands and imaginations.
Adding to our vocabulary is fun when using the magnetic board. We learn the importance of objects. We also learn that orange has many shades.
Math skills are enhanced when children are matching by color and size.
I SPY a big Red FIRE TRUCK. It came to school for an in house field trip for KDG. The children took advantage of our wall of windows and learned a few things too. Sometimes we just need to be flexible and forget the plans of the day.
Pumpkin Roll; we are almost pros now!
Wow this girl and boy are great at drawing a Jack- O - Lantern Face. We've been practicing all week and all youngsters have made progress.
The children love looking at books.

Students names are written on the circles. The children tried to find their name.
The bucket balance scale is new to us. The children are catching on. We are comparing pumpkin erasers to kernels of corn.
The class made the pumpkin into a Jack-O -Lantern. These are hanging in our windows. Our circle stamping art work is hanging in the hallway.
