Bible Story:
Long ago there lived a woman named Dorcas. She heard about Jesus and how he died on the cross to forgive her sins. Dorcas knew that she would live in heaven someday with Jesus. She loved Jesus very much. Dorcas knew Jesus had done something special for her and she wanted to do special things for other people to show her love for Jesus. In the town where Dorcas lived, many people were very poor. Sometimes the people didn't have enough food to eat. Sometimes the clothes they wore had holes in them. Dorcas showed her love for Jesus by giving the people good food to eat. She showed her love for Jesus by giving the people new clothes. The people in the town knew that Dorcas loved Jesus. They were thankful for their friend Dorcas, who learned from Jesus to be kind.
Prayer:
Dear Jesus,
Help us to show Your love by being helpers and giving Your good gifts to others.
Amen
Children will learn:
To be helpers and share God's good gifts with other people.
Songs:

Shape review with puzzles
This is what we did on Tuesday.
I used the Weather Frog clothes as visuals. I held up the clothing and the PDO friends put their heads together to decide what kind of weather calls for this type of clothing.
The sensory table is filled with potting soil, spoons, cups for planting, and artificial flowers. The children were very proud of their gardening skills.
The girls and boys examined various types of materials. They used their words to the describe the feel of the fabric. The used their eyes to name the color of the cloth.
These are a few of the puzzles cards, used today, to help the students review the shapes we've studied this year.
