The Ascension of Jesus
adapted from Acts 1:1-10 and Luke 24:50-5

High on a mountaintop, we disciples are with Jesus. And Jesus says..."Everywhere you go, tell everyone you see all about ME!" Then Jesus goes up, up high into the sky-all the way up to heaven...all the way up to God. But don't be sad. Someday Jesus will come back-Oh yes! He will! He will come back in the sky, and you and I will see Him- OH YES! WE WILL!

Key points for PDO:
1. Jesus" work on earth was finished.
2. Jesus went to heaven to prepare it for us
3. Jesus will come back and take us to heaven.
4. Heaven is a perfect place to live.
5. We need to tell others this good news.

This is to remind us to tell others about Jesus.

Tuesday was a very exciting day in PDO.

The boys and girls began the day by working puzzles.

Next, it was time to interact with friends, while playing with toys.

The class loved choosing their favorite color of play doh.

Then, it was time to shape the doh into special creations.

The stroller is an all time favorite toy.

The cell phones are a big favorite too.

We colored a caterpillar and butterfly.

When we work together with friends we can make some very special structures.

All aboard.

Our girls love the castles.

We named the four shapes. Then we matched colored popsicles sticks to the shapes according to color.

The children loved painting rainbows.

The children matched cookie halves according to shape.

Teddy Bear Bingo was lots of fun.

We planted grass seeds.

The weather was wonderful; we loved playing outside.

We finished our ABC books.

The children reviewed numbers 1-10.

We traced our first name with glue and then applied glitter.

This is the Bible story.

The children "read" this book to me.

We are learning about caterpillars

and butterflies.

We cared for our grass seeds by watering them.

Weather Frog.

 We had a very good day!
