Zion's Parents Day Out

1-25

This week we celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week with other Lutheran schools in St. Charles county and through out the country. At Zion, we are blessed to serve wonderful families in a Christian setting. To Him be the glory for ever and ever. Today was PJ Day and tomorrow is Wacky Tacky (mismatch) Day. Participation is optional. More importantly it was Pray Together Day. We said our usual prayers at Jesus Time, and sack/lunch time. We also had a special echo prayer that we said. I discussed with the children the importance of prayer in our lives.

 Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this special week when we can celebrate being a part of the Zion Lutheran School family.
Thank you for the teachers, principals, and pastors that help us learn about the love you have for us.
Watch over all of us here at school today.
You are an awesome God who blesses us daily.
Please help us get along with each other and not fight or argue.
Forgive us when we do not follow your will.
Thank you for our growing church and school where more people will learn about you.
Bless everyone who enters our school and church.
Thank you for this wonderful life full of friends, family, fellowship, and fun.
And all God's children say: Amen, Amen.
