3-13

New Toys! Along with some toys and equipment that we haven't played with in a while.

Transportation and Construction vehicles.
Walking forward, backward and sideways on the beam; we're getting very good at this.

Creating works of art using crayons and markers.
Using a yellow marker, we traced a large rectangle.

The children used a yellow dauber to fill in circles that made an 8.
St. Patrick's Day coloring sheet.
The boys and girls matched shamrocks according to the design displayed on each one.
Expressing ourselves by using markers on the white board.

Building with gears and gadgets.
Choosing an object to place on the magnetic board.

 Playing house.
The boys enjoyed making a puppet show for each other.

Yippee the light table is back. Now that the class is oldre, they can tell us the color and shape of each block and describe what they are making.
Pot of Gold game. Yellow coins were matched to the corresponding numbers on the on the mat. Younger students develop fine motor skills by picking up the coins and hand/eye coordination as they place them on the circle.

The girls and boys dressed weather frog for a snowy day.
 Jesus Calms the Storm-another miracle.

Looks to be a rainy week and this would be a great way to reinforce the Bible story. Not to mention a fun activity while bonding with each other.
ZION school is collecting plastic lids and caps. Any size/color, The only type not needed is those used as trigger sprayers. This is a project undertaken by the 6th grade class. This material will be used to make park like benches for our campus including our playground. More donations=more benches.
Examples of material needed.
Recess in the Commons. Balls, scooters, races and hula hoops.

Playing with hand cream.

 Books of the day.
Name that animal.

This concludes our day. Thanks for sharing your child with us today. Blessings on your evening.
