Today we welcomed in March. As the saying Goes: "March come in like a Lion and Goes out like a Lamb," Certainly hold true today.
This week we are celebrating the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Some of his books will be read at Story Time. Coloring sheets will be available and 2 crafts will be made. The March Take Home activity will be sent home Wed.-Fri. and will be a Seuss activity. Perhaps as a family you could read some of his books to your child and even watch a video or 2.
Today, the children experienced: Art at the easel, Painted a chick yellow, Finished pink flamingos, Wedding Dress-Up (reminding them of the Bible story last week, !st miracle-Wedding at Cana), Trains, Bible story painting sheet - Jairus Daughter, Number cube recognition, Block stacking, Making a graham cracker treat, Sticker sheet, Large motor development in the Commons, ( balls, hula hoops, tunnels, pop up house, scooters and parachute) Video-on Bible story, Dr. Seuss coloring sheet, Circle Time colors and shapes, Story Time, Toys (kitchen, farms and puppets), Video Dr. Seuss-Red Fish Blue Fish and March Books in the class library.
Prayer Warriors:
Mrs. Koenig was absent today due to her husband's hospitalization. He is improving. Prayers for a return to good health would be appreciated. Mrs. Dose, preschool assistant was in to sub.
