This week the children will learn about Ascension. They will also learn about the life cycle of a butterfly. The children will learn how to pattern-ABA. Girls and boys will be exposed to the #10 and the shape of a diamond.
The following pics will give a sampling of what they've experienced today.

Using markers they children colored the life cycle of a butterfly.
Jesus goes to heaven. The boys and girls colored a picture of Jesus ascending into heaven. Cotton balls were added to form the cloud.
Art-Do a dot butterfly.
Easel Art, the white board and bright colored dry erase markers were used to create a special drawing.
Pattern cards=flower, leaf, flower.
This Bible bag held objects that were used to tell the Bible story. Props were pulled out and revealed in order to tell the story of Ascension.
40 days-amount of time from Easter to the day of Ascension.
