10-25

Fun on big balls. Good for developing balance and strength.

Circle stamping allows the girls and boys to develop creativity and spacial awareness.

Matching striped straws to the same color quadrant aids in visual discrimination, learning names of colors and increases fine motor skills.
The same skills are used in circle matching. This activity also helps reinforce the concept of a circle.

Seasonal craft-coloring a pumpkin outline with an orange marker and decorating it with stickers,  builds fine motor skills as the girls and boys learn to hold a marker and peel off stickers. This crafts helps children learn to fill in all spaces as they color. Finally, it helps develop language skills as the student and teacher talk about stickers that were chosen, Halloween and costumes that children will wear for Halloween.

Hannah prayed for a son in our Bible story today. We discussed prayer. Then the students colored an outline of a hand. With a little prompting the children put together a short prayer.
Hammering tees into a pumpkin develops hand-eye coordination.

The Halloween matching game teaches children to sort through cards in order to find the matching picture. It also builds strength of hand muscles.

Books expand the minds of our ELP students.

Sharing, building muscles and strength are just a few of the benefits of outdoor play.

The magnetic board allows students to experience spacial awareness as they place objects on the board. Naming the objects and properties of the object develop a child's vocabulary as well as forming simple sentences.

Some of our prayers.

Books that were read to the class today.
