Our day at play!
Play is our work!
Why math activities are important in ELP.
Dramatic play is popular and allows children to cook, role play as parents, practice doing chores and work cooperatively in a home like setting.
Children love to play instruments. They sing songs as they tap away on the xylophone. Working latches, strengthens hand muscles and develops fine motor skills. Thinking skills become meaningful while students work the bead maze. The shape sorter aids in hand eye coordination, while language skills are enriched as children learn the names of shapes.
Books allow children to relax and slow down, while the quietly look at books. They enjoy choosing a book for the teachers to read to them. Oral language and memory skills are practiced when they tell the story to other classmates. Boys and girls also learn the proper way to handle and turn pages of a book.
