9-1

WHAT DID WE DO TODAY? See for yourself, but here's a brief description: play doh, walking on the balance beam, playing with classmates, playing with trains, building with blocks, learning about ourselves using the mirror, playing the mini keyboard, using markers to color the box, working puzzles exploring the sensory table, creating a blue mural with friends, stacking small blue cubes, matching like colored squares, making works of art on the chalkboard and white board, enjoying our playground, listening to stories, using our words to describe objects that we pulled from the grab bag,
and using wooden animals to help us sing Old McDonald Had a Farm.

8-31

Today we enjoyed creating with play doh and finding blue objects in the sensory table. Then it was fun to explore the housekeeping center. The Book Nook has a variety of books to enjoy. We got our creative juices flowing as we made a mural using a variety of blue objects found in our classroom. For the next few weeks we will be learning about Creation. We are finding out what God made on Day 1 & 2 of Creation. Day 1- light/darkness. Day 2-sky/water. The box is a favorite spot to enjoy a good book. It is so much fun to stack the big cubes. We are learning to match by color using colored squares. Playing with cars and the train set is loads of fun. Stacking small blue cubes is hard work. We enjoy choosing books, sharing the books with our friends and listening to our teachers read books to us. After a good nap, we closed out the day waving blue streamers.
